Full auto configuration
All a full auto carrier is, is additional material along the rear end of carrier allowing the BCG to trip an auto sear on a full auto M16/M4. If you have a legal NFA item these bolt carriers will all you to function your rifle in a full auto configuration. There are other benefits to this as well. To begin, the configuration allows for a more durable and reliable build. Non-full auto bolts suffer from a high chance of bolt bounce – where the bolt hits the chamber and comes back toward the buffer tube, no longer being in contact with the chamber and causing a malfunction. Binary trigger jobs require a full auto bolt, as a result this model is very popular with gun smiths.

They are staked in four different places on each fastener, holding the gas key in place
Most bolt carrier failures are a result of the gas key being loosened because of poor inaccurate staking. Standard and even premium bolt carriers have this issue. Our staking is high quality and instead of being staked twice per fastener, like almost every other bolt carrier on the market, they are staked four times per fastener. This added redundancy almost guarantees that the gas key will never loosen.

Metallurgy has come a far way since 1960 when the US military chose, Carpenter No. 158 steel. Now 9310 is actually stronger then any bolt carrier configured in Carpenter No. 158, if heat treated properly. All of our bolts are heat treated to the highest standards, increasing the yield and tensile strength of the bolt itself beyond anything achieved with Carpenter No. 158.
